We watch the lift that hurts.
For lifters who don’t want to stop lifting: rehab that keeps you under the bar while the injury actually heals.
What It Is
Most advice for an injured lifter is the same: stop, rest it, come back in a few months. But time off doesn’t fix a movement problem. It just quietly drains the strength you spent years building, and the longer you wait, the more there is to rebuild.
Barbell rehab does the opposite. Dr. Isaac Halliday is certified in the Barbell Rehab Method, which uses the barbell itself as the tool. We adjust the load, the range, and the setup so you keep training the lift while the tissue heals underneath it.
It starts with a cause-first evaluation to find why the pain shows up when it does. Then a plan with an endpoint, built and coached one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, every visit.

What It Helps
You’re the one who never skips the session, who shows up sore and lifts anyway. That discipline is exactly why you’re still hurting, and exactly why the right plan will take you further than rest ever could.

Almost never. The whole point of barbell rehab is to keep you training while you heal. We adjust the load, the range, and the setup so the lift still challenges you without feeding the pain. In most cases you’ll keep some version of the bar in your hands the entire time.
No. A trainer builds strength. Barbell rehab starts with a cause-first evaluation from a Doctor of Physical Therapy to find why the pain happens, then uses the barbell as a rehab tool inside a plan with an endpoint. It’s coaching and treatment in one, one-on-one, every visit.
Not at all. Whether you’re chasing a PR or just getting comfortable under the bar, we meet you where you are and scale from there. Dr. Halliday is certified in the Barbell Rehab Method, so the same approach works for seasoned lifters and first-timers alike. Questions before you book? Call us at (385) 743-2757.
