What It Is

Real answers. Real privacy.

Leaking when you laugh or run. Pain that makes sitting or intimacy hard. A core that never felt the same after birth. These are common, but common doesn’t mean you have to live with them. Left unaddressed, they tend to quietly shrink what you’re willing to do.

Your pelvic floor is a group of muscles that support your bladder, bowel, and core. When they’re too weak, too tight, or not coordinating, the symptoms follow. Pelvic floor therapy retrains those muscles directly.

Dr. Maegan Bingham leads this care, using biofeedback to show exactly what those muscles are doing. It starts with a cause-first evaluation and a plan with an endpoint, one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, every visit.

What It Helps

Where pelvic floor therapy helps.

You’re the one who takes care of everyone else first, especially after a baby. That’s exactly why you’ve put your own recovery last, and exactly why it’s time to take it back.

Questions, Answered

Pelvic floor therapy, no mystery.

Only if and when you’re ready. We start with a conversation and a movement assessment, and Dr. Bingham explains every step before it happens. Any internal exam is always optional, always consented to, and never rushed. Much of pelvic floor therapy uses external techniques and biofeedback.

No. For many people the pelvic floor is too tight, not too weak, and Kegels make it worse. That’s why we start with a cause-first evaluation and use biofeedback to see what your muscles actually do, then build the right plan from there, one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy.

No. Utah has direct access, so you can book with us without a physician referral. If we ever think another provider should be involved, we’ll tell you. Questions before you book? Call us at (385) 743-2757.
