Dr. Maegan Bingham

PT, DPT, ATC, LAT, BRM
Physical Therapist
Maegan grew up in Arizona and moved to Utah in 2013. She spent the majority of her childhood participating in competitive dance and cheer.

Maegan received a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training from BYU in 2019 and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Utah in 2022. She has also continued her post-graduate education by taking courses in pelvic floor therapy and dry needling.

Core Value: Inclusion, personal growth, communication, integrity, and community

Most patients have very little knowledge about their bodies and how they work. Maegan loves educating patients to empower them and help them understand more about the rehabilitation process.

Maegan’s philosophy with physical therapy focuses on a holistic approach to orthopedic and pelvic floor rehabilitation.

Maegan has worked in multiple physical therapy settings and maintains a passion for helping all individuals achieve and maintain an independent and active lifestyle that fits their personal goals.

Many of Maegan’s patients have sought out physical therapy in settings that do not allow enough individual time between the therapist and the patient. Maegan loves working at Lodestar because our treatment model allows for full hour sessions between her and her patients without having to pass off patients to unqualified technicians.

“90% mental, 10% physical”

When not at work, you can find Maegan spending time with her dog Ruby, on the field with her local rugby team, attending EDM concerts/festivals, working on refurbishing projects, spending time cultivating relationships with friends and partners, and, most recently, learning how to DJ.

“I would recommend Lodestar to anyone struggling with an injury or chronic pain. Maegan assessed my situation and gave me exercises to do for pain in my foot that I have been dealing with for over a year. I finally feel like I am on the path to recovery! Thank you, Maegan!”

“I have been seeing Maegan at Lodestar. She amazed me with each and every session. She would evaluate my neck muscles and vertebrae with her magic fingers and would find my sore spots immediately. The dry needling and therapy exercises were very successful and healing. Thank you, Maegan Bingham.”

“I’m a climber, and I’ve badly messed up my right shoulder twice in the last three years. Both times I wasn’t able to climb for at least a couple of months after the injury and after the second injury, I gave up climbing with any regularity for over a year. About four months ago I decided I wanted to get back into it, and worked with Isaac and Maegan to find a physical therapy routine that would not only heal my shoulder, but make it stronger and prevent future injuries. Today I went bouldering and hung off several steep overhands with no shoulder pain at all – something I never thought would happen again. I’m back up to 3 climbs a week, which also seemed unattainable when we started four months ago. I’ll be forever grateful for their help. If you need help recovering from past injuries that you think will never truly go away, look no further.”

“Adding to the charm and warmth of each session was Dash, Isaac’s delightful dog, whose presence was a comforting and cheerful one. Dash’s absence in that last appointment made me realize how integral he had become to the healing atmosphere Isaac created.

Isaac, along with his great pup, has set a remarkable standard for what physical therapy should be: compassionate, effective, and sincerely attentive to the experience of the patient. I am truly thankful for the high caliber of care received and would recommend Isaac to anyone in need of physical therapy, with the added joy of meeting Dash, the four-legged healer in residence.”
