About Lodestar Physical Therapy
Salt Lake City's Trusted Physical Therapy Provider

Physical Therapist and Owner
Isaac Halliday PT, DPT
Isaac graduated in 2010 from BYU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and received a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2015 from East Tennessee State University. He has practiced in many states and multiple settings. He enjoys working with orthopedic and sports injuries the most. He believes the key to recovery is to correct alignment faults within joints and improve tissue tolerance, range of motion, and strength while listening to the body and staying within its limits. This allows for a pain-free recovery and a better quality of life.
Isaac has always been very active and grew up playing many sports. Some of his favorite sports are wrestling, soccer, and baseball. Being an athlete himself, he understands what it is like not to be able to play a sport due to an injury. However, not every injury should prevent you from participating in the sport you love. Isaac can help you return to your sport as quickly as possible.
Why Lodestar Physical Therapy?
Lodestar (noun): one that serves as an inspiration, model, or guide.
Lodestar Physical Therapy, located in Murray, UT, strives to inspire, model, and guide how physical therapy should be. We value your time and money as much as you do. This is why at Lodestar Physical Therapy, you will get 1-on-1 care with a physical therapist who will work with you and ensure you get the best care you deserve.
Physical therapy is much more than heat, ice, massage and electrostimulation. It is more than just exercises or riding a bike for 10 min so the physical therapist can catch up on documentation. Physical therapy is about restoring motion and biomechanical faults and managing neuromusculoskeletal conditions using highly specific treatment approaches and clinical reasoning. It is about healing. Most of all, it is about returning to what you love doing as fast as possible.

I’ve been to several chiropractors over the years with limited to no success. Lodestar dialed in on my issue, providing not only immediate relief, but also resources for self help and a path towards true healing. Highly recommend. Todd Linley2024-12-11Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Isaac took me in and with a good dose of humor and expertise had me getting motion back in my shoulder. And the pain I had, turned into good muscle soreness quickly from his good work and exercises. Always left knowing we had worked on my problems and felt it, but with a smile. Highly recommend him. 10/10. Bone Crusher932024-12-11Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I can’t recommend Dr Halliday at Lodestar enough! He worked hard to figure out the root causes of my lower back and hip pain, which had been affecting my ability to run, row, and lift. He identified how my breathing and inactive glutes were contributing to the problem and guided me through a plan that not only fixed the issue but also taught me how to stay pain-free. It was effective, didn’t hurt, and has made a huge difference in my performance and overall comfort. If you’re looking for someone who truly understands how to keep you moving—not just a quick fix—Dr Isaac Halliday is the one to see! So not only is his treatment effective, he is also a joy to be around, and his “assistant” Dash the dog, is there to provide endless tummy scruffs and moral support. I strongly recommend his services & atmosphere! Much love, Marti D 💪🏼 Micky D2024-07-18Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A year out from knee replacement surgery, I was still not 100% recovered and was experiencing pain when participating in some of my favorite outdoor activities. Dr. Halliday took me to the next level and helped reduce the pain I was experiencing with very specific exercies and therapies. Now I'm enjoying hiking once again without the constant pain. My elbow started hurting 6 mos ago and I went to a different physical therapist and had no improvement. I just started working with Issac and in a few short weeks I am already seeing a lot of improvement. He does a lot of work during our sessions and gives helpful exercises and good advice! I would not hesitate to recommend him! And his dog is great too. :) Kellee2024-05-23Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Isaac has been great to help our strengthen her hips to help her prevent injuries while playing soccer! We thought she had ankle issues, but, thanks to Issac, we found the real problem was her hips.
